KoKo

Arabia's KoKo tableware offers the freedom to mix and match attractive colours and modern shapes. The uniquely combinable KoKo tableware was named and created by two experts of insightful design, Kristina Riska and Kati Tuominen-Niittylä. The concept of the series has always been colour play. The colour scheme of the tableware varies based on trends. The colours apply the basic philosophy behind the KoKo series – feel free to mix them up. The tableware series does not follow a systematic plan. Instead, it brings new shades to unconventional tableware.

Care instructions

OVEN SAFE

Arabia uses vitro porcelain, which is a modern, durable porcelain with a slightly off-white shade. All Arabia vitro porcelain ware is oven safe except Paratiisi serving platter 36 cm and Paratiisi bowl 23 cm. Arabia Uunikokki series has been especially designed to oven use. When using Arabia ware in oven, please do not take a dish straight from the oven and put it into a cold, wet surface or put it on steel. Do not either put a dish straight into a hot oven from the freezer.

When in the oven, the bottom of the dish must be completely covered with liquid or food throughout the heating process. It can stand 250 celsius degrees and must be at least 10 cm away from the grill elements. Cool before placing in freezer, do not put in a hot oven directly from the freezer.

MICROWAVE SAFE

All Arabia utility wares except dishes with gold or platinum decoration or metal parts are microwave safe.

FREEZER SAFE

All Arabia utility ware can be used in ovens and freezers. Do not take a dish straight from the oven and put it into a cold, wet surface or put it on steel. Do not put a dish straight into a hot oven from a freezer.

DISHWASHER SAFE

All Arabia products are dishwasher safe except dishes decorated with gold or platinum. Use a rinsing agent in the dishwasher to improve the results. Very dirty dishes can be soaked in hot water with detergent containing bleach. Cutlery made of soft steel, especially knives, may leave streaks of metal on a hard glazed surface that cannot be removed in a normal wash. (These can be removed by rubbing gently with metal polish.) Check the quality of cutlery when you buy it. To protect the glazing, avoid heavy rubbing when, for example, stacking plates.
